I'm half haitian and don't know to much about my culture.

I wanted to find myself and I can't until I get entouch with this other side.
Can anyone help me? I'll be 18 11 months I want to be able understand what they are saying when I go to church (lol).
How am I suppose to go on with my future if I don't know my past.
