The griot for sure came from Africa, during my stay in Cote d'Ivoire I saw the same kind of dishes in the street like machan fritay.

I'm doing a project for school on Haiti
I was going to bring griot but I'm not sure
But since I have nothing better to bring i'm going to bring it

I once had some fritay near Fort Jacques Haiti it was really the bomb.
