you have never drink the real cremace until you drink the one from Cap haitian, This posted recipe is too busy for cremace.
making cremace is fairly simple, what you need for cremace is condensed milk, evaporated milk, granulated sugar(white sugar)vanilla extrac and 95% proof spirit.
you never never use rum to make cremace.

I've tried making Cremas so many times, but I can never get it to be thick.
What is the secret to it? Please help!!!

the secret is adding lemone juice it's what thickens and brings the whole mixture together... my mom...
