You are the uneducated one. A person is judged by the content of their hearts and character, not by the opportunites they may or may not take.
How dare you speak for the rest of society to say NO ONE can stand Jamaicans!!! I am of jamaican descent, am married to a Jamaican and have just returned from a vacation there and loved evry minute and every person we met! You need more love and less hate in your heart or you will always be unhappy.

Just opened the site, searching for haitian recipes.
What do I find? Ignorant comments from uneducated people.
Respect the site and follow directions, i.e., Subject: Enter a NICE title for your topic.
Keyword: NICE.
Some of us use the internet for the purpose of information gathering, as ntended, and not to BASH our fellow earth-ians.
Now back to caribbean recipes hunting.
Thanks!

Formula holds true --
1 sour (lemon juice, lime juice)
2 sweet (simple syrup
3 strong (rum, Curacao, Coconut rum, apricot brandy, Grenadine, etc.
4 weak (any fruit juice, water, etc.)
Mix. Serve over ice. Garnish with orange, lemon or pineapple slices.

I'm hatian, and I have tastd many different dihes from different places.
apparently for you to have tried the hatian patties must mean something.
nextime just stick to your overspiced, food colored beef patties.
(No wonder in reality no one can stand jamaicans, they are very few educated one's, when was the last time you saw a jamiacan doctor.)

The traditional Jamaican formula for rum punch is:
1 strong (rum)
2 weak (grenadine or Blue Curacao, etc.)
3 sour (lemon or lime juice)
4 sweet (juices like pineapple or orange and sugar syrup)
Works every time, regardless of your ingredients or measure.
You can use a shot glass if you are making a fre drinks, or a cup measure if making enough for a party!! You can also use sweet and sour mix, but I prefer the fresh taste of mixing my own.
