Although it would be very tempting to respond with name calling and vulgar language (as you seem to be so proficient in), that will not solve any of the serious problems that exist with your way of thinking.
It’s unfortunate that you have been "miseducated" and your mind is still in a state of confinement.
However, I believe that it is my duty to inform those who believe they are knowledgeable yet are not, because that is the first step to true liberation.
Thus, it is necessary that I address the comments in your post:
You’re so sure your spelling is top notch and yet you still spelled Haitian incorrectly.
Being Jamaican does not automatically qualify your English speaking abilities.
Most Jamaican’s so-called "English" is really patois, which I’m pretty sure your British colonizers would have a difficult time understanding.
As for Haitian food not being Caribbean, we set the standard for what Caribbean is. We were the first independent nation in the Caribbean, so while we were forming a true Caribbean identity, Jamaica was still under British control.
When you have a European power controlling your country, how can you claim to be the "real Caribbean?" That’s like Britain saying, they are the real Caribbean.
Sounds absurd, doesn’t it? And it still took Jamaica more than 150 years after Haiti to get their independence, so it wasn’t until then that you guys were capable of forming your own identity.
Furthermore, if you knew anything about Jamaican culture, you would know that Jamaicans eat tripe, cow feet, pigs tails, and goat head soup (mannish water), which many people would find unappetizing.
However, that is no reason to insult your culture.
So before you post comments and make yourself look and sound ignorant, do us all a favor and educate yourself on different cultures, especially your own. Instead of relying on "what you heard," start by doing some research and try reading a book.
