Each time I have had beans and rice from Haiti a side sauce was served to pour over the top. It was red and each time it had meat in it. It wasn't hot but just spicy enough.
I think it might have been tomato based but I'm not sure.
I have the bean and rice recipe but I just don't want to eat it anymore without that delicious sauce.
Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.
