While in Jeremie, Haiti I had something called a Komparette (I'm sure I'm not spelling it correctly)...
I would love this recipe.
It was a bread shaped like a large dinner roll...
but was dense and had distinct flavors...
maybe even anise among others...
anybody know about this.
